This. I think they should actually add new demonic pets, like koala bears. Or aardvarks. They would surely strike fear into the pixely hearts of all of their foes.

No it is not and the same with smiting and it has nothing to do with other profs well a little with Eles I would say but not Pars.
I would say make Presearing bigger and add all Post towns into it for all the permapre char.

The forgotten armor of Abaddon!
It starts with Nicholas finding a clue which hints at the existence of an armor set of the former god of secrets and water.
Having to care for Yakkington makes him unable to pursue this fabled armor.
Following the clue leads to another and another and on and on etc you get the point, sending you on a three continent spanning treasure hunt that tells the story of a god before he went evil.
During your hunt you keep a notebook of all the clues you found.
Having found all the clues makes is possible to find the last shrine of Abbadon.
Kneel in front of it and an ancient servant of Abaddon appears.
He/she/it ask us what we seek. The armor of Abaddon we reply and hand over the completed book holding all the info of the long and hard quest to get here and proving yourself worthy.
The servant reads the book and accepts to challenge us in a fight.
After defeating the servant the shine crumbles revealing the chest that contains the armor.
(Black cloth armor with shiny black armored parts laced with silver, heavy gaundlets radiating with purple margonite energy, the epic headpiece that fits a slayer of the former god(/shoo Kormir this is ours).
The armor works as a costume and has no real armor value
Would be a great way to show respect for the old god(hey, he did good things too) and giving players a well deserved free costume!

Oh, and make it elite again, cause I did it HM, and you can let 1 fart and everything practically drops dead..
Sort of agree on #10, ok, I'd like it, because back in '06 I didn't have Proph nor NF so I missed out on both Halloween and Christmas back then, while those were the best hats there were.. But I can see why they wouldn't do it.. I say, if your charr/acc is old enough, you should be able to get them imo^^
|
I would say let anyone be able to get the old stuff. For the most part any "prestige" attached to those items is gone (not that prestige makes any difference to me anyway), but as you said, a lot of those old hats are much better looking than some of the more recent ones. So why not let those people who came to the game later, or just happened to miss the one day of the hat give out add to their collection?

#6 made me lol.. Easymode? I thought HM already was easymode.. Elite isn't what it's used to be dude.. Easymode would mean a lvl10 charr with 5 skills could solo it, cause we're nearing that point.. If you can practically h/h everything in the game, there is practically a negative difficulty curve.. (yes, you can do DoA with heroes, UW too, someone did it HM. Deep, someone did with himself and 4 heroes, so...)
#7 Could work, but I wouldn't like it.. Well, sorta, but meh.. Doesn't feel right..
#11 Is a bad idea, because then PvP'ers would say they couldn't get lux/kurz fact anymore.. AB, but AB is dead lol..
#12 Depending on what pets you're aiming at..
To make an addition to your Sorrow's furnace thing, I'd like to see some kind of torment-ish weapons dropping there, with a similar system to DoA now.. No endchest that COULD drop it, but could also drop complete shait.. Nah, work for your stuff I say..
That would make Prophecies appealing again.. And not only for WiK..

Having options are better than limits. I want better control over the type of challenge I want at any particular time, and the rewards should be scaled accordingly. Right now the rewards for the time and effort spent in the harder areas aren't that great for any but SC/gimmick builds. Make the Easy Mode rewards equal to the current Normal Mode, and then increase the amount of rewards and include guaranteed drops for NM and HM based on party formation for those areas.
I work for a living. I play games for fun, relaxation, and stress relief. The time I need to work for anything in games is the day the industry dies.
Edit: Oh yeah - any and all minis currently created in the game. Naturally, the rarer they are, the more Zcoins would be required. I would also like to see all of the Special/Pre-Order items available in the in-game store so that players can acquire items that were only available in specific regions.

Hmmm, think you might have an argument with a few of the people who are into the lore of the game about that xD
How can you have towns that were only build after ascalon was destroyed, added somewhere on the same timeline as ascalon?
Admittedly it would be nice if they expanded Pre Searing a bit more, although maybe the minimalism is the real magic of pre searing (plus the scenery and music )

On the topic of presearing, I think it would be cool to add the option to switch to hard mode after reaching lvl 20. HM monsters could drop more rune/kit drops and maybe some items currently not available in pre.

They've said a few times that while some classes have certain skills and abilities which perform similair roles, some classes are supposed to be better at those roles than others. Earth magic is supposed to be an inferior offensive line - that's "symbolically" represented by the lack of a conjure skill like the other three conjure skills.
The monk's smiting prayers line is pretty terrible for PvE and Lynsey said it was on her "to consider" list way back early last year but who knows what happened with that. I don't think the dervish update was supposed to take this long (over 6 months is a bit excessive when they even recognised that the paragon and smiting monks could be looked at - and judging by this thread, a lot of players want some of the other classes looked at as well). I think it would be interesting to see a survey on class balance and what players want from Live Team priorities. It would be interesting to see how many people think classes like the elementalist, ranger, non-shadow form sins and paragons need some kind of look at for PvE. If you look through the skills these classes have there are many examples of skills which were nerfed for PvP reasons and were never buffed after they split the skills.

Please no. Pre-searing is the tutorial for the game, far more developer time has gone into that community than it ever should have. Investing more time and resources into it simply isn't fair for the majority of people.

Release of GW 2 … before I get swept away by old age and can not play anymore because of arthritis.
But to be honest add the
1. Heroes and open up FOW / UW / DOA.
2. More Non inscribed items to start dropping on all campaigns ~ give me something to farm for Gimmie some R 7 R 8 of some other items

Euh, why Pogahn Passage? That one is piss easy.. If you can't manage that one in HM h/h then you have some serious trouble sir..
And, am I really the only one who is against a 7 hero update? It would make this game practically singleplayer...

It's the only mission that doesn't have a Zaishen mission, though. Which is likely the point of people asking to add it to the Zaishen rotation. Has nothing to do with how easy/difficult it is.

These two plus regular skill updates.
By "regular", I mean every two months (or bi-monthly). Oh, and actually bi-monthly, not this every-6-months bullshit.
